1. This association shall be known as the Groveland Park Subdivision Home Owners Association of

Lake County, Illinois, incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois not for profit. It shall

have no power to pass any ordinances. Its main purpose is to keep open the water rights given

to all property owners for boating and fishing purposes and recreational purposes whom have

title to land in the subdivision. Only paid-up property owners have the right to use the

recreational property on Klondike Avenue.

2. If the Association shall be dissolved all moneys in the treasury shall be donated to the American

Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy and the American Heart Association.

3. The corporation officers shall be bonded and insurance moneys collected to cover this bond. No

officer shall draw a salary.

4. The yearly dues shall be established at $35.00 a year. Any increase shall be voted on by the

membership.

5. The president shall serve 1 year, secretary 1 year, treasurer 3 years, trustee 1 year term. One

trustee a 2-year term, a 3rd trustee shall serve a term of three years. A total of three trustees

shall be elected.

6. Checks drawn shall require a minimum of 2 signatures. The President and the Treasury. All

expenditures shall be examined monthly by the trustees.

7. All monthly expenditures shall be listed monthly for the examination of the membership of the

Association only.

8. Only members of the Association shall have a vote. Two Votes per family maximum.

9. Any addition to bylaws shall be voted on by membership only.
